community interviews

Thank you for your interest in collaborating with this film by recording an interview!

We will be conducting our first round of community interviews at the Acequia Madre House (614 Acequia Madre) on Wednesday, February 8 and Thursday, February 9, from 10-4 both days.    Interviews will be 15 minutes each and scheduled every 20 minutes, so try not to be late for your time slot!

Before you can record your interview, you will be asked to sign a talent release that gives us permission to use the footage.   This is a collaborative project, and the footage will be accessed by a handful of organizations in the community, including:

  • Kamio Media will utilize the footage in the production of the film series.

  • The Voces de Santa Fe group will get a copy of your interview to be used in different ways within the group.

  • Acequia Madre House will archive the interviews in their collections and database.

  • Women's International Study Center will feature the film on their website and other materials.

  • The Historic Santa Fe Foundation will also feature the film on their website and other materials.

Potential topics for your interview:

  • What did the Canyon Road neighborhood used to look like and feel like?

  • When did things change?

  • What do you wish was different?

  • What is historic preservation?

  • What do you love about Santa Fe?

If have any questions or want more information, please email Kyle Maier at canyonroadhistory@gmail.com
